She is the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, an advocate for education and the rights of women and girls. Still a teenager, she is known worldwide by merely her first name — Malala.
And she is coming to Omaha on July 18, speaking at the fundraising luncheon for the nonprofit Girls Inc.
“She is probably going to be our most meaningful speaker for girls to date,” said Roberta Wilhelm, the social service agency’s executive director. “Girls are moved by her story and relate to her.” Read the entire article here.
